We Offer a Varity of Different Patch Backings to Fit Your Needs
• Sew On / No Backing - The most common type of backing is a sew-on back. This allows for the patch to move freely when it is sew-onto a jacket, hat or bag. This is also the most secure way to attach a patch.
• Iron On / Heat Seal - This backing allows you to iron on the patch to a jacket, hat or bag. The iron on backing is great for patches that will be iron onto flat surfaces. The hotter the iron or heat press the better the patch will stay.
• Velcro - The Velcro backing allows you to sew one-side of the Velcro onto a jacket, hat or bag and then wear, remove, replace or rotate the patch with ease.
• Adhesive - The adhesive backing is ideal for smaller patches. It allows you to attach the patch to clothing or accessories immediately without sewing or ironing.
• Plastic - The plastic backing has the same feel as the iron on backing, but the patch must be sewn on. This works well if you want the patch to have a heavier, stiffer feel but still want to sew on the patch.
Embroidery Coverage
Because our patches are completely custom made we can embroidery as much or as little as your design needs. The pictures below show the difference for the amount of embroidery. Most patches have 75% embroidery. The white areas below show the twill (background material) and the different colors show the embroidered areas. If you are uncertain how much embroidery you patch will need we can figure it out for you. |
